Overview
The HPE 873831-S01 is a 1 U rack-mount server from the ProLiant DL360 Gen9 family, designed for infrastructure teams needing a compact general-purpose compute platform. It ships equipped with a single Intel Xeon E5-2609 v4 processor (8 cores at 1.7 GHz) and an 8 GB DDR4 memory module, providing a baseline entry point for virtualization, small-business or remote-office deployments. It supports up to two processors and a large memory capacity via 24 DIMM slots, enabling future expansion. The chassis includes eight 2.5-inch small form-factor hot-plug drive bays and is powered by a 500 W Flex Slot platinum-rated power supply, making it suitable for use in standard 19-inch rack environments, edge compute nodes or campus server rooms.
