Overview
The HPE JH408A is a compact unmanaged switch offering eight auto-sensing 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ-45 ports, aimed at small office and edge deployments where plug-and-play simplicity and full-gigabit access matter. It requires no configuration and supports auto-MDIX, enabling direct connection of desktop devices, printers or access points without switch-specific setup. With a fan-free, low-power design and desktop or wall-mount form-factor, it fits into quiet office spaces, remote racks or home-office wiring cabinets. This model also supports Energy Efficient Ethernet and idle-port power-down to reduce energy consumption.
