It features the Intel Xeon E5-2690 v4 CPU with 14 physical cores and 28 threads, a 2.6 GHz base frequency and up to ~3.5 GHz turbo speed — ideal for virtualization hosts, high-density compute clusters or general-purpose enterprise rack servers. The kit includes the processor, heatsink/fan assembly and necessary mounting hardware so you can drop it into a compatible platform and reuse your chassis.
In real-world operations, this enables an IT team to boost compute density without ripping out the chassis: you retain your existing server rack, storage/power infrastructure, and upgrade only the CPU layer.
