Overview :

The RUCKUS ICX7850-48F is a fixed-form factor, 1-rack-unit Ethernet switch targeted at enterprise network engineers and IT infrastructure teams who require high throughput aggregation or core switching. It offers 48 SFP28 ports capable of 1/10/25 GbE, along with 8 QSFP28 ports supporting 40/100 GbE for uplinks or stacking, allowing consolidation of server, storage or campus aggregation traffic. The unit supports stacking of up to 12 switches with up to 9.6 Tb/s aggregate bandwidth, enabling a distributed chassis architecture across wiring closets or campus nodes rather than a single central chassis. Deployment fits data centre leaf/spine or campus core/aggregation layers, or high-density wiring closet aggregation. The switch integrates with RUCKUS SmartZone or cloud-based management frameworks, and supports advanced Layer 3 routing and stacking features for resilient, scalable networks.
