Overview
The HPE QK726A is a hot-pluggable SFP+ transceiver module designed for 10-gigabit short-range links in enterprise fibre-channel or Ethernet environments. Infrastructure engineers deploy it in multimode fibre uplinks, SAN switches or high-density racks where low-latency, high-throughput connectivity is required. It operates at 850 nm wavelength over duplex LC multimode fibre and supports link distances up to approximately 300 meters on OM3 fibre, providing flexibility in data center topologies. This module fits into standard SFP+ cages and supports digital diagnostics for real-time monitoring of optical parameters. It aligns with HPE B-Series switch platforms and fibre-channel fabrics making integration into existing infrastructures straightforward.
