Overview

The HPE J9726A is a fully managed Layer 3 access‑layer Ethernet switch designed for branch offices, campus access floors and small to medium‑sized enterprise deployments. The unit offers 20 auto‑sensing RJ‑45 10/100/1000 Mbps ports plus 4 dual‑personality RJ‑45/SFP ports, providing a total of 24 gigabit access and dual‑mode uplink ports. Two module slots allow support for optional 10 GbE uplink modules, and a stacking module slot enables chassis‑level aggregation of up to four units. With a switching capacity of 128 Gb/s and a forwarding rate around 95.2 Mpps at 64‑byte packets, it supports both standard access services and advanced flows such as static IP routing, ACLs, sFlow and IPv6 host mode.
