Overview
The HPE AF652A is a rack-mounted analog KVM (Keyboard-Video-Mouse) console switch intended for IT infrastructure teams managing multiple servers in data centre racks. With support for up to 16 server connections through twisted-pair cabling and the ability to cascade systems to manage up to 256 servers, this switch helps reduce the number of individual consoles required. The 1U chassis includes dual local user access and supports USB and PS/2 keyboard/mouse interfaces, making it adaptable to mixed hardware environments. Mountable in a “zero-U” side-rail position or standard rack mount, it fits into typical 19-inch rack infrastructure and integrates with HPE rack consoles and management tools for streamlined server access. The OSD (On-Screen Display) interface and optional remote access key enable remote console control over IP when required.
