Overview :

The HP 762760-B21 is a dual‑socket capable processor kit designed for enterprise servers such as the HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen9. It provides 14 physical cores and 28 threads per CPU, enabling virtualization, large‑scale compute workloads and high throughput in data centre, cloud or HPC deployments. With a base clock of 2.30 GHz and maximum turbo frequency of 3.30 GHz, it supports modern DDR4 memory and up to 768 GB per socket, making it suitable for high‑density memory applications. It is intended for deployment in rack‑mounted servers in data centres or campus server rooms and integrates with HPE’s management ecosystem including iLO, firmware updates and system diagnostics. The kit includes the processor, appropriate heatsink/fan configuration and is fully compatible with dual‑socket server platforms from HPE.
