Overview :
The HP C7978A cleaning cartridge is designed for routine maintenance of LTO Ultrium tape drives and libraries, supporting generations LTO‑1 through LTO‑8. It removes debris and contaminants from the tape path and read/write heads, helping reduce read/write errors and extending drive life in demanding environments. The cartridge supports up to 50 cleaning cycles in compatible drives and is compatible with HP and non‑HP Ultrium libraries and drives.
