Overview
The HPE 816822-S01 is a 4U rack-mount server engineered for enterprise-grade workloads that demand scalability and reliability. It ships with an Intel Xeon E7-8860 v4 processor (18 cores at 2.2 GHz) and supports dual- or up to four-socket configurations for growth. The system can accommodate up to 96 DDR4 DIMM slots allowing memory capacity up to 6 TB, making it suited for large-scale virtualization, in-memory databases or mission-critical applications. Storage is served by an embedded Smart Array P830i controller with 12 Gb/s SAS support, and the chassis includes hot-plug drive bays designed for enterprise storage configurations.
