With either Fibre Channel (4 ports per controller at 16 Gb / 8 Gb) or iSCSI (4 ports per controller at 1 Gb / 10 Gb) host connectivity, you can match your network infrastructure while preserving investment in drives and enclosures.Despite its entry positioning, the MSA 2050 architecture supports advanced features such as thin provisioning, online controller upgrades (data-in-place migration from legacy arrays), snapshots, replication and hybrid flash configurations.In real-world terms, deploying the Q1J01A means you mount the 2U chassis in your rack, attach dual controllers for redundancy, choose FC or iSCSI host interface modules, install your drives (SAS SSD, SAS HDD or SAS Midline HDD), and manage it via the built-in GUI.
