The RUCKUS ICX7450-48 is a fixed-form 1 GB access switch designed for enterprise deployments, enabling network teams to deliver dense 1 GbE connectivity while preserving uplink and stacking scalability. It features 48 RJ-45 10/100/1000 Mb/s ports and supports modular uplinks including 10 GbE and 40 GbE, allowing upgrades as traffic grows. Its stacking architecture supports up to 12 switches with an aggregate stack bandwidth of 960 Gb/s, making it suitable in campus wiring closets, aggregation layers or small data-centre top-of-rack installations. The unit supports hot-swappable power supplies and fans, reversible airflow, and advanced Layer 2/3 feature sets including OSPF, BGP and VRF, enabling consistent management alongside wired and wireless infrastructure.
