The HPE Aruba IAP-314 is a high-performance 802.11ac Wave 2 wireless access point designed for medium-density enterprise environments. This controllerless (Instant) AP delivers robust Wi-Fi connectivity for mobile devices, IoT sensors, and business-critical applications in locations such as schools, retail branches, and corporate offices. It effectively addresses the challenge of providing reliable, high-speed wireless coverage in areas with a growing number of concurrent users by leveraging advanced radio technologies to maximize throughput and network efficiency. Engineered for performance, the IAP-314 features dual-radio, 4×4 MU-MIMO (Multi-User, Multiple-Input, Multiple-Output) technology. This allows the access point to transmit data to multiple Wave 2-capable clients simultaneously, significantly boosting network capacity and reducing latency. With an aggregate peak data rate of 2.1 Gbps, it provides 1,733 Mbps on the 5 GHz band and 400 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band, ensuring ample bandwidth for demanding applications.
