Overview
The HPE JW759A is a 1‑rack‑unit mobility controller in the Aruba 7240 series, intended for campus core or large remote‑site deployments where high density mobile clients, wireless access points and tunnelling services are required. It supports up to 2,048 managed access points and up to 32,768 concurrent client devices, enabling consolidated control of WLAN traffic, authentication, encryption, IPv4/IPv6 services, and firewall enforcement at multi‑gigabit throughput. With four fixed 10 Gb/s SFP+ ports and two dual‑personality ports (10/100/1000 BASE‑T or SFP), it integrates fibre and copper connectivity to wired network backbones. The product supports clustering, high availability and broad network services making it fit for enterprise large‑campus wireless systems. Remote management and lifecycle features allow integration into existing enterprise infrastructure.
