The HPE JL095A is a modular, high-performance Layer 2/Layer 3 campus switch chassis suited for aggregation or distribution in large enterprise networks. It comes configured as a 4U frame with a management module, fan tray and two 8-port 1G/10Gb SFP+ modules, offering 16 open SFP+ slots initially and modular support for expansion. With support for redundant power supplies (sold separately) and up to 16 dedicated 10 Gb SFP+ ports along with four open module slots, it enables future growth to high-density 10Gb, 40Gb or multi-gigabit access. It fits in standard 19-inch racks and is part of the Aruba 5400R zl2 series which supports VSF stacking, MACsec, SDN-ready architectures, OpenFlow and advanced IPv4/IPv6 routing. This product addresses the needs of network engineers deploying high-capacity campus aggregation, wireless backhaul or virtualised campus fabrics, and integrates with existing management frameworks in campus data centre or large-campus environments.
