It provides 44 auto‑sensing 10/100/1000 Base‑T RJ‑45 ports plus 4 dual‑personality ports that support either 10/100/1000 Base‑T or mini‑GBIC fibre interfaces. With a switching capacity of 96 Gbps and latency under 5.4 µs, the unit handles full‑wire speed at 64‑byte packets. It fits in a 1U 19‑inch rack or sits on a shelf, making it suitable for enterprise wiring closets or campus edge aggregation. Integration is supported via Web‑GUI, CLI, SNMP and works with HP ProCurve Manager tools for device and traffic management.
