Overview
The HPE JL070A is a compact, fully managed edge switch in the Aruba 2530 series designed for small office, branch or enterprise edge deployments requiring PoE+ support on a tight port count. It offers eight RJ-45 ports with 10/100 Mb/s capability, all supporting PoE+ (up to a 67 W total budget) and includes two dual-personality ports that can be used as either RJ-45 Gigabit or SFP fibre uplink ports. Its small 1U rack-mount or wall/desktop form-factor enables flexible installation in wiring closets or compact rack spaces. The switch delivers a switching capacity of 5.6 Gb/s and supports Layer 2 functionality with IPv6 host mode, ACLs, traffic prioritisation and secure wired edge access — making it suitable as an access-layer switch for powering wireless access points, IP phones or surveillance cameras.
