Overview :
The HP JD093B is a hot‑pluggable SFP+ optical transceiver designed for network engineers deploying 10 Gigabit Ethernet links in enterprise and data‑centre environments. It supports a 10 Gb/s data rate over multi‑mode or single‑mode fibre with a 1310 nm wavelength, enabling network upgrades over existing fibre infrastructure. With a reach of up to approximately 220 m on OM3 multimode fibre and up to 300 m on single‑mode fibre, it bridges short‑to‑mid‑range links at data centre edge, campus aggregation or distribution layers. The module supports digital optical monitoring (DOM/ DDM), facilitating link diagnostics and maintenance. Its IEEE 802.3ae (10GBASE‑LRM) form‑factor compatibility ensures integration with standard SFP+ ports.
