Overview
The HPE JG962A switch is designed for network engineers overseeing demanding branch‑office or SMB access deployments that require both high‑density Gigabit access and 10 Gb uplinks. It offers 24 auto‑negotiating 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ‑45 ports with full PoE+ functionality and a 370 W PoE budget, allowing simultaneous data and inline power delivery to wireless access points, IP cameras and VoIP phones. On top of that, two fixed SFP+ fibre ports and two 10 GBASE‑T copper ports provide uplink bandwidth and flexibility for fibre or Cat6A cabling. The device fits into a standard 1U rack environment, supports IPv4/IPv6 static routing, link aggregation, stacking (up to four units), ACLs and advanced Layer 2/3 features — making it suitable for both branch access and campus edge aggregation. Remote management via web, SNMP and CLI is supported, allowing integration with existing infrastructure and automation tools.
