Overview
The HPE JD094A is a high-performance SFP+ optical transceiver that supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet over single-mode fibre (SMF) with a reach up to 10 km. It uses the 1310 nm wavelength and a duplex LC connector form-factor, making it suitable for enterprise aggregation links, data-centre inter-rack or inter-building fibre runs where single-mode fibre infrastructure exists. Typical deployment: linking two aggregation switches across a campus or data-centre with standard SMF and LC patching.It fits into SFP+ ports in HPE/Aruba networking equipment and supports hot-plug operation and digital diagnostics monitoring (DDM) in compliant systems.
